Hi there, I've never been to Hop Farm before. Now that Prince is confirmed for the Sunday I'm thinking a getting a Sat/Sun ticket. Does anyone know if it's difficult to find a camping space if you don't arrive till the Saturday?

Thanks.

lovely pic^^ i have to agree with the the person who mentioned the travel, it's a bluddy head scratcher. it seems there intentions were only to have a 3ed day IF they could get Mr purple, because why leave it so long until they confirm the 3ed day? the only explanation i can see is... they were waiting for him to confirm. i hope my hotel can give me another nights stay or i might be on a park bench come the saturday night

So I just bought my ticket for the Sat and Sun with a weekend camping pass from Eventim. I could print the ticket as soon as the order was confirmed. That's a new one on me, did anyone else have this experience? Seems like 20 people could rock up with the same printout. Did this happen in previous years?

I have always wanted to see Prince since forever ago. I was away working for all of his O2 residency so was getting to the point of accepting that I would either have to head to America or just never get to see him.

However, I am a very happy boy. I live literally five miles away from the Hop Farm site and have bought four Sunday day tickets this morning. With Glastonbury the weekend before, it's shaping up to be a pretty decent summer.

Also, does anyone know how it's going to work for people with Fri/Sat tickets already bought, paid for and delivered. It says we'll be able to upgrade for £40, but it doesn't say when or where or if you use the same ticket.

All in all, it's pretty bloody unhelpful.

tinie temper is in my mind a very very strange booking, most of the people who will be going will be there to see the classic rock/indie acts. coupled with the more up to date slightly more main stream pop/foke artists. were does tinie temper (who in all fairness is good in his own right) fit in to the hop farm model? i hope im proved wrong but i cant see the crowd taking to him

Believe it or not, Prince, despite knocking on a bit now, is, or was, a massive POP star. He's brings out the big party tunes for the masses. Tinie Tempah, whatever you may think of him, is also a massive POP star. I'm no fan of his work, whereas I am of Prince's, but I reckon it's a pretty decent fit. Prince and, for example, Mumford & Sons, would not work together on the same bill. The majority of people who want to see Prince, want to dance and Tinie will help them do that. I fully expected a bill of dancey/funky/soulful acts to accompany Prince.
