Hi guys, I'm a first time user of this forum, basically come on here to find someone to go with! My mate dropped out, and I don't think I'm going to be selling my ticket, so rather than cutting my losses and running, I'm going to be coming on my own...

I'm 20 studying Advertising in Southampton and basically I was just hoping to find someone to have a crack with, anyone from down south going?

Hi all,

I've got a camping ticket for the Sunday, but I'm coming a long long way, anyone know if I can set up camp about 2 am on Sunday morning or is that still classed as Saturday night? Don't really want to sleep in the car when I arrive at that time in the morning, but I will if I have to. How far is the car park from the camping? Thanks.

hi all, not posted in a while. I am now working Hop Farm. My shifts mean I get to see Friday and Sunday headliners, shame I will most most of Mozza but you can't have everything.

Anyone driving from or near Brighton on Thursday? please PM me if so :)

Just received the site details as I will be working at it - the bars will be using Challenge 25 so if you look under 25 { even if you are 35 } then please bring suitable ID { card with a PASS Hologram - passport - UK driving license { with face image }}

Its a arena so there will be restrictions on what you can bring in { check official site for details }

if you are camping be sure to bring heavy tent pegs as it does get very windy as last time I was there I saw three tents in the air at the same time flying over the trees.

Its the only event I work at that every bar uses large water tanks as ballast.

So yesterday I went to Hop Farm on a day ticket with some mates. Aloe Blacc was surprisingly good, Eliza Doolittle was brilliant, Imelda May was average, Larry Graham was amazing, Tinie Tempah did the same set I saw last week at Glastonbury and then there was Prince.

I have always, always wanted to see Prince and he didn't disappoint. A brilliant set, full of the hits. An 8 minute version of Purple Rain was probably the highlight but the whole thing was just a great show from start to finish. Really pleased I was able to get the tickets and extremely happy the venue was only 5 miles from my house (however, it still took two hours to get out of the carpark). An amazing night.

nice one. How was the general atmosphere and was it busy? I heard they had resorted to selling cheap evening tickets rather than day tickets because of low numbers. Unbelievable really considering a night at the 02 seeing Prince would probably set you back £100ish!

had a great time at the fest, the sun was shining the booze was flowing and the music wasent half bad either :P

i loved the 1950s shuttle buses with the wind up windows. O.C.S were so good on Friday in the big tent me and this guy were convinced liam gallagher was on base :lol: and they played life forever by oasis, just a mind blowing set. ooh and two girls started fighting at the front so funny.

i met so many lovely people, including a great lady who supplied me with vodka all afternoon/evening on the Friday. i met a fella from Middleton who i stayed up with all Saturday night. we ended up watching theses guys from Wales get thrown out from thinking it was expectable to freely rack up lines of white power on a bench in the camp site so funny, god bless him he put up a good fight even when the police arrived he wouldn't give up then he tried faking a heart attack, me an the guy from Middleton were pissing our self's laughing.

parade were possibly the most talentless but most sexy act at hop farm. with the lady from the duke spirit coming second. looking very sexy with her little leather hot pants on.

the eagles for me were the biggest disappointment,for a legendary rock n roll band i expected more. alot of people weren't happy with loo reed admittedly he didnt pull out alot of his big hits but i really enjoyed it. i was singing along to sweet jane and some guy tried shushing me :rolleyes:

i didnt get to see prince because of the trains on a sunday, but what a weekend never the less.

ooh and a big thanks to the lads who helped me get my big bottle of vodka in to the arena.

the specialized security lads and lady's were great all weekend as well.
