so i finally built my pc, but trying to install a "copy" of cs4 i keep getting the following error:

I did have all sorts of crashes when i first booted but that seems to be sorted

anyone know what's causing this appcrash?

I've just noticed it's an ntll.dll error, which unfortunately means it could be anything of 100 things wrong with your computer. Could be the drivers aren't up to date, or the software is incompatible with the drivers you have if it's a brand new PC, or it could be your installation of Windows is corrupt. Cleaning the registry might help, but you'll probably have to pay for some software to do that.

why dont you try a portable version modey? much smaller, and you dont even have to install it, you can run it from a usb stick. or you could use GIMP, which does pretty much everything photoshop does, and is free.

not legit, just from the usual sources. its much smaller, and doesnt hog resources as much. it just runs using your ram afaik.

but gimp is good, just takes a little getting accustomed to. it even does some stuff PS cant do from stuff I have read.
