I think it was lithium in one of the download threads maybe tbc and rumour thread. He's pasted in a comment from kerrangs website on the system and avanged announcement that say soundgarden are playing fri, system sat, and metallica Sunday and appearances from tenacious d. That comment seems likely after the twittering from Andy coping last night.

That might rule a few out of r & l.

Not sure about Metallica, aren't they planning on some of their own big shows next year aswell as still having the Sonisphere exclusive clause in that contract.

I would love to agree with you but the tour is in Feb and R&L is announced in March so they can be exclusive at the time for the festival.

true but surely quite a lot of demand for them will have dropped after those gigs because quite a lot of people will have seen them.

I reckon My Chemical Romance will still have a chance to play, but I wouldn't say headlining was a must for them. I still think they could possibly play second from top on the main stage, as long as the band above them are a much bigger draw.

I'd much prefer them to be a sub then for them to headline.

Green Day comes to mind as I doubt they would want 2 headliners that are very simliar and they are looking likely with Green Day cancelling last year.

Does it though, their whole 'exclusive' thing doesn't seem to be the most strongest of things. Don't care either way honesty. Majority of stuff being thrown around brings a big old meh from me.
