Germans make the best salads ever and they put sauerkraut in them too, its really good. Also i love the dill creamy dresing you can get for cucumber salad, you can't get it here.

The other thing they do is curry ketchup - nom nom you can have normal mild and mitt foire!

people faught and died for our basic freedoms, therefore we all have a right to wear a poppy or not, what cant be ignored is that, regardless of sides, these wars were inhumane and the death toll almost unfathomable. I wear a poppy because i am human.

My problem with this issue is when people turn the poppy into a devicive one and use it as a platform to protest current issues, the sign that a section of the celtic football club fans made for example . To me this is the greatest mark of disrespect

I'm sure I said this last year, but I'm always a bit surprised about this…..I manage a public building and we mark the 'Two minutes silence' every year. Having just arranged it again this morning I find it quite astonishing that people who are proudly wearing their poppies give me grief, become overtly disrespectful, moan, tut, even become abusive when 'Big Ben' bongs at 11.00 etc.

What is that all about ?
