Artie Fufkin
Just this minute bumped into Jarvis on Totnes train station. Legend. Got a pic taken with him. Asked about glasto, "I can't possibly divulge such classified information" was the response. Read into that what you will
Bort
Did you ask him about a US tour? And it's only classified if you sign or agree something, and you only do that if you're playing. I'm not playing Glasto and can tell you that I'm not because the organizers didn't request (or contractually demand) that I keep quiet about it. I'm reaching, right? Bort
Did anyone pick up the new NME? Is there anything of interest regarding the upcoming reunion, or is it all just nostalgic rehashing? And if so, is it worth a read? Their Glasto issues are the only ones I can ever stand to read. Guest blackcockerel
Not worth bothering with really. Just old stuff. They are pushing for them to headline Glasto though. I bought it for the first time in years and it was even worse than I remember!

Artie Fufkin
I am currently on the same train as him so I could go ask, but he's the other end of the train in first class and I can't be arsed

Artie Fufkin
No chance mate, it's the Sunday evening service back to London. it's so busy I can't even get 5 yards to the loo, let alone 6 carriages. Plus 1st class stinks

djtashman
What's the best album to go alongside the greatest hits then, or which order should I be making through them even?
eggyrocks
I wouldn't buy the hits instead pick up at least Different Class and His N Hers. If you like that sound I'd try Separations, it's just not quite as popular. This is Hardcore is probably my favourite Pulp album, but it's nothing at all like Different Class with the exception of Help the Aged, it's darker and harder to listen to if you are from a pop/indie background - doesn't stop it being a masterpiece. Almost the same could be said for We Love Life. The deluxe version of TIH have some fantastic b-sides on them too, same with DC and HNH's. I'd just buy all five and then maybe get the best of the older albums - the first three are a bit more patchy but do contain some gems like 'Dogs are Everywhere' 'Little Girl (with Blue Eyes)' 'The Mark of the Devil' etc.
Joshuwarr
His N Hers has and always will be my favourite Its just beautiful pop that can just so easily be danced to.
Bort
We Love Life is criminally underrated.
no1_foxymama
We Love Life is an utterly brilliant piece. I adore This is Hardcore these days, although I hated it when it came out! Intro and Separations are also marvellous pieces of work - O.U. (gone, gone) is one of the greatest pop songs ever written in my humble opinion. I AM SO SO EXCITED!
