There's always debate as to who the biggest British bands after Oasis and Blur were, but no question those two were at the top.

Manics aren't as big as they used to be, based upon the size of venues and festival slots they've been playing, but at their peak they could sell out stadiums.

Radiohead have been one of the biggest bands in the world since OK Computer.

Pulp were always a huge name though, if you're talking strictly Britpop and not British Rock (although Everything Must Go and The Bends get called Britpop...guess that's the closest either band got) then no doubt they'd have been right up there. I just thought that Radiohead and the Manics both at their peaks were bigger than Pulp at theirs, but still not doubting their size because they were big.

There was also The Verve as well, but their success wasn't as consistent as any of those five.

It's just a shame Mansun didn't reach their potential, they would have been bigger than any of those :P
