Above 20 quid for a protest that wont do shit.....oh you were right about Thatcher

It certainly won't do shit as less than 5% of students give a shit about it, that much is certainly true. ;)

Hitching is free, tho of course, it's only mad murderers that ever give anyone a lift, eh?

Didn't they bother asking their mums for a lift? I thought that was the standard student thing nowadays? :P

f**king BBC - talking to people currently working inside millbank tower. Who are repeatedly saying it looks worse than it is, no-one is frightened, etc etc

then the presenter asks are some people frightened? have they gone home early? it must be ever so frightening!! blah blah blah. trying to put words in peoples mouths.

Grrrr so much for the objective BBC.

Agree with Blinky, except I don't have kids, I just get f***ed off when I hear some bloody student on the news today going 'boo hoo I only have £30 a week left to spend, how can I go out' (not exact sentence, but the guy was ranting about that) - ffs get a part time job you lazy bastard, it's not hard to get a job in tescos / sainsburys (which did for my 3 years of uni) / asda etc.

the tory HQ is the wrong building?

I was going by what was either posted in this thread or said to me by someone or other earlier - that it's not their HQ, it was merely their election campaign headquarters. I'm not sure if that's the case or not?

I'm surprised that anyone uses Millbank Tower - it's been on a demolishion list for at least 20 years.
