singles thread

decided to end all ties with the londoner. not worth the heartache when i'll probs only see him a few times a year and hes been acting like a dick recently.

i didn't reply to his last text, undecided whether to just ignore him completely or text him with a reason. considering we were never really together not sure what the right thing to do is.

in my student house of 8 people i am now the only single girl. (there is also one single boy)

wouldn't normally bother me, but now im actually wanting a proper relationship, i've never felt so single

Just text him back saying "sorry about slow reply busy with Uni, blah, blah, blah don't think this is working even though you're a good guy because of the distance and being busy with Uni", coming out of it with class and being guilt free is always the best way to go.

Some girl slept in his bed on Thursday. Just slept, to save her sleeping on the sofa. I made a mountain out of a molehill. He got awkward around me. Mutual friend told us both we need to properly talk about it, which we haven't done. Everything's still a little off. He obviously just wants to be friends and I'm not really in the right mindframe to deal with that. All a bit shite.

EDIT: She slept in his bed again last night. Then stayed here most of the day today. I phoned my mum and cried at her about it. I hate men.

it sounds like you thought the f**k buddy situation would eventually lead to being together properly, and he obviously gave you a reason to believe that and was happy to let you think that so that he could keep you and get what he wanted.

even although you were never properly going out, it was completely wrong for him to have another girl sleeping in his bed because of the situation with you two.

if he doesn't want to commit, i think you need to keep your distance a bit. whether you're with him or not, you'll probably feel shite but at least if you just stay away from him as much as you can, you won't get messed about. if he is messing you about, it's only because you're letting him, so don't let him! sounds like he needs to grow up a lot.
