People want the deposit scheme removed because they think it'd make it easier for them to get tickets, failing to answer why Glastonbury would actively want to reduce demand for their business. It's a stupid idea that makes it more difficult for those on low incomes.

Agreed, seems a tough year for bookings, but think Glasto has the pulling power to get the right act (if they’re willing the pay the right price however). I seem to remember Liam Gallagher being rumoured for this year, might be going mad though, but the reunion would’ve scuppered those plans at short notice.    AC/DC apparently touring the US next year, think they’d be a good booking taking O Rod and 1975/Fender into account.    I think there’s people out there, who aren’t Muse and Sheeran, but very slim pickings this year. I keep feeling like Green Days time will come each year, and whilst the Download appearance isn’t billed as an exclusive I don’t think, I can’t image Glasto being keen on booking them if they’re at download a couple weeks prior. 

Signs suggest they skinted out on the bot protection for the sale just gone anyway as is..further changes would take manpower/dev hour and likely more cost.
