I really enjoyed having Kevin Bridges at Rockness 2010.

Unlikely to get big names like Eddie Izzard, Sean Lock, Rhod Gilbert, even Russel Kane since winning the Edinburgh Fringe award may be getting too big. Frankie Boyle i am not too sure about these days, Mock The Week seems to be his career highpoint for me. Saw him live last year and he was a little disappointing as he'd done quite a few of the jokes before, even more so when saw his tv show, every single joke he did was from his tour, not a single new thing, poor effort indeed. Sorry rant over, haha everyone entitled to their own opinion...

I'd be happy with any from Mark Watson, Andrew O'Neill, Rich Hall, Craig Campbell, Andrew Lawrence, Chris Ramsay, Andrew Maxwell, Steve Hughes.

I haven't heard anything about who the 'big' comedy act in the tent will be - if indeed it happens again?

But the early news before the line ups came out included an interview w/ the comedy booker & talked about getting in 3 Scottish Comedian of the years.

This years winner - Ro Campbell - is absolutely brilliant, caught him at the SCOTY semi-final & have seen him supporting Tom Stade recently.

I think Ro is one of the acts booked & expect Mark Nelson & Scott Agnew to be the others. They will all be good & I hope there is a decent turn out for them wherever the may appear (Howard's End coming back?).
