Just been on the SONI forums and someone has said that Radio 1 have just said that Paramore, Blink 182, MCR are playing festivals, 2 of them for download and 1 for Sonisphere.

Does this rule MCR out for Reading/Leeds ?

I'd love them to be announced for DL or Soni, then R/L could have:

Muse / The Strokes / Soundgarden

The Prodigy / Pulp / Tool

tbh i recon blink 182 will headline download. but mcr and paramore are both very good sub choices.

looking at this years line up for soni its hard to say which way paramore or mcr could play. peraps paramore may go on tour with soni as they havent annoced any dates for next year, so on that logic i'd say mcr will play download.

i don't think this rules them out for playing reading & leads. consierdering faith no more HEADLINED download in 2009 then played the tent at reading (it was just annoced after download happend) its very much possible. i recon mcr will play both soni/download and R/L, i very much doubt they will headline all 3, there popularity has deminitished a lot (but i like the new recond LOL)

There not playing anywhere yet. It was a piss take. Biffy are headlining soni Sat and linkin park Friday at download. Mcr are now more likely for leeds. I can see paramore at soni but not headliners unless the Friday.
