Massively disappointing, particularly if the other does end up being MCR or Paramore.

Linkin Park are a massively overrated band in my opinion, live they always come accross as over rehearsed or far too polished, in the sense that it seems like they could be miming. Every time I've seen them (5 times, mostly festival slots) it's been "The best show they've ever played" and "The best crowd we've ever played to" *Yawn*

On the plus side at least they'll get a few of my mates interested in going.

I was talkin to toby jepson out of little angels and he said when they played download in '07 he watched from side stage and pretty much everything was done on computers and they do actually mime parts of their set, obviously take it with a pinch of salt but it wouldn't surprise me!

they are a band who don't care anymore.Linkin park have lost my respect I used to be a huge fan. Until that is I saw them on their current tour...they just don't show any love to the fans anymore

I have to say guys, I am super duper happy. I am a totally LP lover and I have never ever seen them live which makes me very I had tickets this year but Post Office lost them and I never got to go which again made me I spent the night watching Alice in Wonderland instead of being at LP!

I agree their new album sucks. But Linkin Park are awesome live. They don't sound like they mime. Unless they mix every song to make it sound like they are singing it live *yawn*

Ive got to say, i haven't listened to Linkin Park since I was 15 but they're certainly big enough to headline a festival and apparently good live.

I took one look at the Soni announcement and it put it all in perspective.
