I hope I'm wrong for those who missed out but I don't believe they are holding back or will release any more tickets. The only way to legitimately get tickets after it sold out last year was from the exchange booth at the festival itself, and I've got no idea how many actually became available. There might be some tickets they cancel due to suspicions about touting but that didn't happen last year.

There's already loads of people complaining on facebook and twitter that it's sold out and they weren't warned?!?!? I can understand being disappointed about not getting tickets but no one can say they weren't told it was getting close to selling out. There also seems to be a perception that the warning the organisers gave out was just PR spin to generate sales but the fact of the matter is that demand now outstrips supply for Pukkelpop. Imo there's loads of factors that have contributed to it selling out but I don't believe there was any sinister motive to try and trick people into buying tickets quickly. Let's face it, they'd look a complete joke if they said it was close to selling out at the start of May and there were still tickets available on the door. Is it beyond the realms of possibility that they just wanted to let people know there weren't many tickets left so they didn't miss out? Could you imagine the uproar if they said nothing and then just put up the 'sold out' sign?

Anyway, I hope everyone gets sorted as it's shaping up to be a vintage year (imo and weather permitting of course!!). I've downloaded loads of albums of bands I haven't really heard of and there's a few I'm really looking forward to seeing already. Wolf People, Miles Kane, Wild Beasts, Twin Shadow, Untold and Little Dragon are all now on my list and I've still got a fair few to check out.

I'm well aware it means nothing, but The Vaccines, Flogging Molly and Elbow (among others) have all been added to Lowlands. I'd be very happy to see any or all of those three double up with a trip to PP, especially The Vaccines, as I've already seen the other two several times...

New Names:

Glasvegas - Customs

Rival Schools - The Go! Team

Alice Gold - Trash Talk - FITZ & THE TANTRUMS - The Sore Losers - Young The Giant

Housse de Racket - Mini Mansions

Thursday line up is becoming better and better... Glasvegas, The Go! Team and Rival Schools will perform on Thursday...

Saturday line up is the worst line-up in Pukkelpop history

I'm looking forward to Saturday more than Friday myself.

The dance acts on Sat look especially strong.

Still, I'd say there are a few more name to come yet. Thursday looks much bigger than the other two days so the poster is looking a bit unbalanced at this stage.

Only really The Go! Team that I fancy watching from this little lot but tbf I've already got far more than is humanly possible to see on my list for all of the days. Saturday is actually (once again!) the day that has the most bands/DJs I want to catch and I'll second what londonlax said about the quality of the dance acts on offer - top draw imo. I'm sure most of you will have these on your radar already but if not definitely try and check out Emalkay, Untold, Pearson Sound, Azari and III, Danny Bryd, The Shoes and Breakage. I'll probably be doing shuttle runs most of the day between the Dance Hall and Chateau but there's quite a few other bands I'm looking forward to seeing as well.

My only concern at the moment is that there is virtually nothing in the two biggest fonts on the poster for any day that I want to see - which will probably equate to who plays for the last few hours each day on the Main Stage and Marquee. Sometimes this actually makes things a bit easier as I can watch headliners on some of the smaller stages and avoid the big crowds. Without wanting to get too anal about it all, there should be another headliner to come for both Thursday and Friday and there are no bands in the second biggest font on Friday and only one on Saturday (compared to 4 on Thursday). This could mean that there are potentially another 9 'big' acts to come but I doubt this will be the case. I wouldn't be surprised though if they 'promote' someone like The Ting Tings or Within Temptation as this has happened in the past. I mean, are Skunk Anansie really that big in Belgium, or anywhere else for that matter?!?!?
