Boothy380
f**king love The Bouncing Souls, well happy with that. So the announcement should be next week but tickets aren't on sale til the end of April?
Ilse
'The festival returned in 2010 for its 25th anniversary, with Iron Maiden, Placebo, Queens of the Stone Age and Snow Patrol among the headlining acts. The 2010 edition is notable as the first ever Pukkelpop to have sold out its entire allotment of tickets, approximately five weeks prior to the commencement of the festival. As of Wednesday 16th march, it has been confirmed that Pukkelpop 2011 headliners shall be Foo Fighters, System of A Down and Kings Of Leon. ' Quoted from wikipedia. Obviously, could be rubbish as it is wikipedia but also possible? What does everyone reckon? Nothing on the official website so I'm guessing it's just someone falsely getting my hopes up.. Ilse
Surely it wont be KOL since there doing Werchter , Yea and SOAD seem to have only dates in early summer
TheNewUnion
Already gone from Wikipedia. I'd be disappointed if KOL headlined as I've been nothing but bored the 2 times I've seen them at festivals. Foo's always deliver a good show so no objection to them playing. Just want some names now, feels like everyone is announcing and Ppop isn't so I'm getting impatient!

boarderwoozel3
Looking forward to the announcement! Fingers firmly crossed for Portishead/Underworld/Leftfield Though I'm indifferent, Foo Fighters seem like a perfect fit for Pukkelpop. AlanL
I saw that OFWGKTA is also at Reading/Leeds. If they show up on Pukkelpop's lineup I may be sold just with that. Seriously, these f**king kids are crazy.

boarderwoozel3
Hopefully the Boiler sees an influx of [-] M-nus records talent like Ritchie Hawtin, Magda, Gaiser, Marco Carola, etc. etc. It's been a bit over-saturated with electro in the past few years with a few DnB and dubstep djs peppered in, imo. Trentemoller is an excellent start to the Dance tent though.

PM2010
Seriously considering going, assuming the line up is good, but have just been reading about the problems last year with the camping. Could anyone let me know what exactly happened? And is it likely to happen again this year? Also, are there any other serious problems/negatives with the festival? benrothwell
Getting a bit cheesed off with not hearing. I guess all of the rumours of a 3rd week in March kinda lit the fire and now its raging with no sign of any names!!! As for the camping, well I was one of the biggest complainers on here... Arrived early, hoping to get a good camping spot. Wristband queue minimal, queue to get in the campsite minimal (where your bags were checked for glass and other illegal items) Once inside the campsite, held back by a rope, crowd ever increasing - no movement as of yet. Then the movement begins. But it isn't a free for all. Instead the rope moves 2-3m a time into the campsite. Keep going like this for some 100m or so, and suddenly all hell breaks lose. People literally putting their tents up on your feet. Then the rope would advance 2-3m at a time and you were meant to put your tent up in this melee. Words cannot explain what an absolutely appalling system this is. Once tents are up etc, camping is VERY tight (literally tent to tent) - not like the campsites at V for example, but generally ok - noisy, but no major problems, good sanitation etc.
