next announcement in new year

still hasn't got that 3rd headliner locked down yet

Yup. They said this last week on the official forums, wonder how long into the new it will be, Im guessing its gunna Febuary

He has now said he has the third headliner booked but won't say anything else until the new year. I think it will be January though!

He probably does have them booked mind, just won't say so cus everyone will just tweet him nonstop asking who it is, and I think they'll save it until tickets go back onsale which why I thought Feb.

I asked about Tool but he said he couldn't answer specific questions, and to hang in there. Ah well. Guess thats hope for Tool, surely if they're ruled out he would have just said they're not playing like his big list he did the other week, and did for MCR.

Bad timing to reveal that there is no announcement till the new year when sonisphere have just announced the big 4! That might help me decide between the 2 next year.

I'm convinced the 3rd headliner is Pearl Jam. It all seems to fit.

I think it will be Ozzy.

I am uber happy with Linkin Park and SOAD though so to be honest, I don't even care who the 3rd is. They could put Justin Bloody Beiber on there and I'd be. "oh well. SOAD and LP!"

If it is Tool, thats 3 repeated headliners in like 6 years.

As much as i love Tool i would like to see someone else who has not headlined. Saying that what would be better is if they just remove LP for that missing headliner.

I would love it to be pearl jam. That would be 3 headliners I like, already seen linkin park this year so not too bothered about watching them again, id probably check the second stage.

I'm starting to think the smart money might be on Tool. Ozzy is still possible, but 1)Concessions would probably have to be made to make his day "Ozzfest" day and 2)If he was gonna play I reckon he would have been booked already.

Yup, im really thinking its Tool and they're gunna do classic rock day on second stage with Whitesnake headlining as they haven't got anyone big enough for main stage, think they may have wanted Ozzy but it didn't pan out
