Hmm, it was pish, but no better than the Two Ronnies stuff. The apple and blackberry sketch was mildly funny last night but I'd stil much rather watch the Inbetweeners.People look at comedy from years ago through rose tinted glasses. Manufacturing a situation around a few puns isnt really funny, im sorry (four candles sketch)

Harry Hill, there's another comedy act that appeals to everyone. TV Burp is still fantastic, there's jokes in there that are clearly aimed at adults but it's fine to sit and watch it with their kids.

Boyle had his moments I gotta admit, but again I really think he needs to be surrounded with 'lighter' comedians so that his humour gets diffused a little bit. His cruel cynicism works when he's next to someone like Noel Fielding who's capable of making you laugh out loud at absolutely nothing but a bunch of carefully chosen (not 'random') whimsical words.

He's good as a show's resident troll, but I honestly don't think he can carry himself going solo.

noel bloody fielding? he was rotten on big fat quiz. least he was for the 'random' silly bits. think he was the one that gave the 'look after george michaels beard when he's in jail' line to jonathan ross that was funny though.

God yeah, 2 hours of him & the one from the IT crowd going 'look at us, we say such bizarre things' was far far far too long. I actually missed Russell Brand, that's how bad it was.

She's just one of many female comedians who think that their defining feature is the fact they are women - ultimate example is Jo Brand, but also folk like Sarah Millican. Jokes about periods, motherhood and body image get extremely tiresome after a while.

Richard Ayoade is bloody brilliant. I loved his dead pan delivery. Really complimented Noels randomness. The man is cool personified. All the stuff about his boiler and needing a plumber was very funny.

watched the never mind the buzzcocks with frankie boyle last night, i think he is definitely more suited to panel shows than he is on his own show. he is at his best when he has other people to bounce off.

just watched Boyle on Buzzcocks, and he was hilarious
