I reckon it could a semi retired band who if he pulls it off may be a good booking but are being fussy over details.

I've got a feeling it could be Queen in some shape or form, it's the 30th anniversary this year and Brian May has said something about doing "live work" but nothing really conclusive to point towards a festival though.

Birmingham show is the only UK show.

No Van Halen European shows in 2011.

I said Nickelback a very long time ago, however I can't see why he would be delaying it if its Nickelback, so I think if they are playing they're just subbing. I know they play arenas and have a big fanbase, they just don't have that 'wow' factor.

Yeah thats true, just don't see why Nickelback would be held back by all these fests then, they aren't doing a European tour or anything.

Why on earth are Manowar only doing one show over here? Doesn't make sense.

So is the Van Halen not doing any Euro shows just coming from some Swedish promoter who probably realised he couldn't afford them. Most promoters are just bullshitters anyway.

Not in the slightest, more a case of working on a new studio album first then in all probability a very profitable US tour to finance it.. If that goes well then perhaps a full world tour..

As for Manowar, why the need for more dates when the solitary date they have announced has yet to sell out?

Its about 3500 venue. Ive been there. The two acts you saw were in arenas, club venue gigs shouldnt be as high of a price IMO. And yeah theres two arenas in birmingham. Obviously they know the demand just isnt there.
