thetime
Has a freebie tonight to watch the Courteeners, I have to say the worst crowd I've witnessed in nearly 25 years of gig/festival going. Thugs is an understatement. Oh well much better crowd for Carter and James this weekend. Edited November 21, 2014 by thetime
atomised
Enjoy James. Based on the Albert hall gig you're in for a great show Never understood the crowd the courteneers attract but not at all surprised by your experience
eFestivals
Bryan Adams in Cardiff tomorrow night. Good music and political pedigree that would seem to qualify him for Glasto.shagging royalty is political pedigree?
grumpyhack
shagging royalty is political pedigree? Have I missed something Neil? I know that he took a photo of the Queen that appeared on a Canadian stamp but did he do more than take her pic?

dondo
I'm going to that too It will be rather awesome i'm guessing, especially as I haven't actually seen them live since 1991!!! This will be 7th time I've seen them- twice in the early 90's and 4 times (this will be 5th) since they reformed in 2007 Can't wait Edited November 21, 2014 by dondo

Lynsey Cox
The Pretty Reckless tonight, never seen much but heard it.. not my thing. Tomorrow is Erasure and Saturday is Lily Allen! What a bizarre combination. I saw Pretty Reckless supporting Fall Out Boy earlier in the year..they are very good, worth going just to drool over the singer. Mananged to get 1/2 price ticket for Linkin Park on Monday in London...me 1 scumbag tout 0...

Amy Lawn
What a bizarre combination. I saw Pretty Reckless supporting Fall Out Boy earlier in the year..they are very good, worth going just to drool over the singer. I was at the Manchester show of that tour, Fall Out Boy were outstanding, Pretty Reckless not so much. If you like that sort of thing then I suppose you're getting your money's worth, they're not at all bad at what they do, to be fair to them. I just find it #epicbants that the singer is little Jenny Humphrey out of Gossip Girl.
Ipayne
Robert Plant was very good on Tuesday, absolutely loved Babe I'm Gonna Leave You and Going to California; Still got a set of pipes on him and Skin Tyson is just incredible on guitar. Last gig of the year for me though

TheGayTent
Played lullaby which I wasn't expecting. Could hear a pin drop in the crowd. A rare occurrence these days. You got go to the bank too - I'm asking for my money back! Still you didn't get vervaceous so swings and roundabouts
TheGayTent
Was bizarre opening with a bside. Loads didn't know it. One of the reasons why we love 'em is their risk taking at live shows

russycarps
Don't see it as a good thing or a bad thing myself. It's a dreadful song that tarnished the bands reputation hugely.
DomDom1984
How did it "tarnish their reputation hugely"? Got a ticket to go see Placebo at the Academy in Glasgow. Seems to be a new tour. Hopefully a hits one to lead up to their 20th.
