DomDom1984
It was 2120 to 2300 last night for Slipknot. Think Korn came on just before eight, but I'm not sure on that one as I got there late.

FloorFiller
Slipknot and KoRn were fucking incredible. had such a good time, and they played the exact setlist i was hoping for (Opium Of The People!!!). really made me miss going to this type of gig regularly
DomDom1984
So it's Enter Shikari with support coming from Feed the Rhino and Fatherson coming up for me at the Barrowlands next. Looking forward to it!
Bobs
Slipknot at the Echo was amazing. ยฃ20 tickets is things dreams are made of. LondonTom
Finally booked a couple for this year! The Who TCT Gig at the Royal Albert Hall, went for Gallery Standing as I wasn't going pay a hundred quid for a ticket! And Will Butler of Arcade Fire at Scala! Quite pleased with my return to friday ticket sales, feels ages since I'd had to and I was done within 5 minutes
whisty
Kosheen last night at KOKO or Camden Palce Theatre, nice venue, great gig, quite possibly the loudest Bass i've ever heard. In Kent tonight and a few more around the country before going further afield. Edited January 30, 2015 by whisty
FloorFiller
booked tickets to see Todd Terje play a bombed out church in June today; not only one of my biggest must-see acts, but the venue sounds like it's gonna be really special too. can't wait! (and that's one more clash i don't have to worry about if he plays Glasto, which i think he will)
zero000
I somehow managed to double book myself for TV On The Radio and Hot Chip at the same venue, on the same day. Absolute shocker. There's an hours difference in the curfew so hopefully I'll be able to catch the last hour or so of Hot Chip!

chimera88
Tickets for both Mew and Mogwai at Roundhouse obtained as payday treats. :-) Mew at the Roundhouse was definitely one of my gigs of 2013 and the new album will be out by then too, even better. PDAD
I saw The Blockheads on Friday night and they were actually brilliant! I was really skeptical obviously due to no Ian Dury but I'd strongly recommend seeing them if anyone can get the chance!
grumpyhack
Agreed. Still great fun. One to avoid. I saw 'Dusty and Friends' at The Riverfront in Newport on Saturday. At least I say I saw. Mrs GH and I actually walked out at the halfway interval. Only the second time I've ever walked out of a gig because it was so bad. I won't bore you with all the gory details other than to say a woman in a wig trying to sing like Dusty and a white guy blacked up and wearing glasses playing the part of Ray Charles wasn't for me. thegremlin_1999
Just booked for Monster Magnet at Rock City. Missed them last time so first chance to hear the Last Patrol/Milking The Stars stuff.

russycarps
You considering a cover band gig? I didn't think you had it in you. it's only in a pub, which is perfectly acceptable...
whisty
Kosheen 05/09/15 @ the Jazz Cafe, Camden. Sure to sell out, a great intimate venue to see a band.
fred quimby
it's only in a pub, which is perfectly acceptable... surely worth a punt then, unless it's miles away. Easy to walk away from
greenfairy43
The Staves tonight at the Sage. Perfect venue for their beautiful vocals.
Ipayne
Just got some tickets to see Fleetwood Mac in Birmingham in July. Kept hesitating getting tickets for the Leeds show but by the time I decided they had sold out; saw there were still alot of tickets left for the last Birmingham show and decided to go for it whilst I had the money. Very much looking forward to it as I have been very into them recently.

grumpyhack
Zoot Money at The Globe in Cardiff, Feb 27. Saw Zoot at Farmer Phil's last year. Ageing but still top notch musicians. Zoot did a roll call of those no longer with us in one number. Quite sad to think of all the leading blues and jazz men who are no more. Amy Lawn
Patti Smith at the Apollo hasn't sold out, I want to check if she's at Latitude before buying a ticket to go to the horrible Apollo, but I bet they'll sell out before they announce the line-up. Conundrum.
