WOW REM would be great, just hope its the Eminem day... I'd be happy enough with REM/Arctics as my headliners if that were the case.

It would either be headlining second stage or headlining main with Arctic Monkeys subbing

Thats pretty huge getting Eminem and REM, two massive American acts, two of the biggest of the past 20 years

Saw REM headline TITP back in 2008 and gotta say I found them a little... disappointing. They played so much new stuff and I felt the set could have been a lot better, in the end I had watched an hour and went to watch the end of the Prodigy on the second stage.

I vowed never to go back to V but REM could very well persuade me to get a day ticket. How realistic is this though? They're a HUGE band to be headlining 2nd. Plus, it's the weekend before my wedding & my missus will go ape.

I find it very strange that they dont have 1 dance act headlining the 4music stage. With Daft Punk playing under a different name in spain at the start of augest maybe they could do the same at V and play a smaller slot on the main stage.
