She was on the Other stage in 2008, she had a pot on so was confined to a chair all her act, it was pretty poor becuase the speakers were not on loud enough. She can sing, but she annoys me with all this attitude she puts on, she goes overboard sometime

Bambers, I like Jessie J, clearly not as much as you, but even I wouldn't sit here and go through all of those videos you've posted. You probably are a member already but with a quick google search, it appears her official website has a "community" that might be more receptive to all the videos your posting.

Been meaning to reply to this for a while. (Tragically as you can see, most of those vids have now been scrubbed)

Regarding your suggestion that I might be better placed posting on her official forum. I just feel, given my age and cultural background, that might be a bit inappropriate. What I will say is this, the thread was started by someone who wanted Jessie to play. She has played now, and most of my posts here simply re-iterate the sentiment that she should, must play again, just like any other artist thread. Don't watch them if you don't like 'em. Find something else to do in 2014 if she plays and is not to your taste. 27,631 views proves all this speculation and reverential nonsense is far from irrelevant on this forum. There is plenty of interest , if little love.

If you read my post you would understand that I do like her. However you're clogging up a topic on her with endless videos that I can't imagine many people have the time to sit and watch. This isn't a discussion about Jessie J at all anymore, it's you spamming videos with no apparent reason. She's played, people want her to play again. I'll put this one out there though. Most of the received wisdom here will portray her as an acquisitive pop puppet, well here she is performing a particularly poignant song at the Stephen Lawrence concert, not about the money, supporting a cause that to this day, in many ways epitomises the way I for one feel about the shortcomings of this country. This should be close to all our hearts.

I'll leave you all to judge the merits or otherwise of this performance and many of you will I'm sure will pick holes, but look beyond your horizons and see that this sort of thing is important still in this time. Given the background of Stephen's killers, it is far better that Jessie J is invited to, and excels (IMHO) at an event such as this than the everlasting cultural divide that is the alternative.
