OK point taken. Those videos were good videos though, it's a shame they are gone. I promise to stop posting Jessie J videos here indiscriminately.

I'll put this one out there though. Most of the received wisdom here will portray her as an acquisitive pop puppet, well here she is performing a particularly poignant song at the Stephen Lawrence concert, not about the money, supporting a cause that to this day, in many ways epitomises the way I for one feel about the shortcomings of this country. This should be close to all our hearts.

I'll leave you all to judge the merits or otherwise of this performance and many of you will I'm sure will pick holes, but look beyond your horizons and see that this sort of thing is important still in this time. Given the background of Stephen's killers, it is far better that Jessie J is invited to, and excels (IMHO) at an event such as this than the everlasting cultural divide that is the alternative.

she seems to have got it into her head that singing is some kind of competition

I would see Jessie J breaking her leg again. Only this time instead of her pulling up a cute child to sing with her...

...up comes Russycarps, pushing people in the face after 15 pints of Brothers, for an unbroadcastable version of Price Tag.

Please please please

i really do hate Jessie J. like so so much. but there's just something about that Wild song (well, just the chorus. i have no idea how the rest of it goes) that i love / gets stuck in my head. used to always hear it on the radio thinking 'wow this is damn catchy' and then was absolutely devastated to find out it was Jessie J

reckon she'll be there next year. third on Pyramid maybe?

It is brilliant bamber, but I suspect we find it brilliant for different reasons.

Reasons are simultaneously opaque and transparent. Jessie J is clear as Mud. I recently found out she is part of the God Squad. That's a shame, but it won't change my opinion,
