So...this calorie counting lark...is downloading an app the way forward?

In our little FB weight loss group, everyone but me is doing brilliantly but I am not calorie counting, just eating what I regard as healthy and a lot less than I would have done previously.

I see calorie counting a big old faff but is it easy enough to do if you have the right tools? Am I supposed to buy a honking great book with listings of what everything contains/have me laptop to hand at every moment for internet access? Measure everything accordingly with a calculator strapped to me wrist 24/7 adding it all up?

Lack of exercise is my biggest enemy. I just don't enjoy it.

If i lose another stone, i'll buy a bikini for my holiday in july.

I havent worn a bikni as a grown up, so this will be a big thing for me!!

Will just have to get the courage to wear it! I feel that everyone is looking at me when i'm in swimwear, looking like this;

I think the best thing is just to educate yourserlf as to what contains the most calories. It's common sense really - cut out sugar and fat, limit your protein and carbs, and eat plenty of fruit and veg. You don't have to go hungry to lose weight, just eat the right foods.

An entire month of eating healthy, not eating one tiny piece of chocolate and instead having lovely rainbow salads and watching what I eat has ended in spectacular style.

Chinese New Year dinner...enough leftovers for 3 lunches worth.

I dont drink vast amounts that's for sure, had my first cider last Thursday (just a half too) since I cant remember when and it all went downhill from there. I do think this shite shite weather isnt helping. Cadbury's Dairy Milk passed my lips yesterday too. And now beers.

Hurumph. NO strong will. Just feeling supermeh about it all now.
