Yea small goals, not like the whole 'i want to lose 6stone or be a size 6 by december'

slow progress creates road blocks

seems like a good goal,

one thing is with losing weight..you can't really drink, too many calories, extra calories on top of food = fat gain

same with stuff likes crisps, we only have a coke machine/crisp machine at work, so tempting to get crisps when im hungry..but like 1 pack takes 30mins or so to burn off on the cross trainer

The hard thing for some people, from what I know seems to be carry on with a healthy lifestyle / exercise after they lose some weight - I guess that's why so many people get personal trainers

What are you all going to do when everyone's achieved their goal? Just curious -

The past few weeks I've stayed the same/lost/gained. Really want to get back on track and lose this week. Wanna lose what I gained last week plus an extra pound, but I can't see that happening as I haven't exercised much (2 days out of 4 oops)

It will happen, slowly but surely!

  • 2 weeks later...

Argh! I'm addicted to weighing myself. Jumped on the scales day before yesterday, to find I hadn't lost anything. Then yesterday, they lied and told me I'd lost 4lb. Today they're winding me up by telling me I've put 2lb back on!

I know I shouldn't do this but I can't help it.

Still, that's half a stone in 2 and a half weeks. I still haven't noticed clothes getting looser though - how much weight do you have to lose before you go down a dress size?

I have lost half a stone. Only another stone and a half to go :D

Giving up cheese and bread for lent has definitely helped. I might keep it up.....after gorging myself on cheese on toast on Easter Sunday!!!

decided i'd weigh myself a couple days after usual weigh in. turns out i've apparently lost 2lbs in 2 days. think the moral of the story is to stay off booze this week. last week i ate pretty similar but had quite a lot of booze on saturday and stayed the same.

not expecting to lose another 2lbs by saturday but at least if i can stay the same or slightly better than 2lbs, then it'll encourage me to keep off the booze.
