hello mr King

i feel as though i need to let you about how angry i am with AEG live.

I have been to Rockness twice, love the festival but feel as though i am getting totally ripped off booking through this company.

i tried to cancel my tickets this morning and i got told id loose my money if i did!!

i took out the installement plan. choose the £50 option and ended up paying £113.95. i have now to pay another £110 x 2 making my 2 weekend tickets £333.95.

thats a disgrace when i could go onto a company like the booth and pay a one off booking fee of £11 and get my tickets for £309. £25 more im paying to book a same ticket thro a different company.

AEG is a total rip off and i really unhappy that i feel as though i am getting ripped off for my rockness ticket!!

i just wana cancel my ticket and get my money back but this seems to be a problem.

can you help me??

I hope you get your money back but isn't it the same with any ticket agency where if you pay for a ticket, part payment or full payment, you accept their T's&C's that no refund is available unless the gig is cancelled etc.?

On a sidenote, AEG are a disgrace and they're booking policy is probably one of the worst around so I completely sympathise to your situation.

hello

apologies for delay in replying but i havent been on efests for a little while.

ive taken note of what you have sent me and ive checked with the ticketing company and from what i can see they have contacted you directly but i will hurry them along to hopefully conclude this. it will be after the weekend now though so apologies for the delay.

i cant comment on the actual amounts charged at the moment purely as im on the train and do dont have the info in front of me but the installment plan costs the agent more to process as its 3 transactions so this could lead to an increase in fees. personally i do think that this fits in with most areas of life where if you pay by installments over 5 months or so it can cost a little more than paying 100% in one go but as i said i will have to check to ensure that this has been fairly done in your case and in line with the T and Cs.

I cant process or authorise a refund as they are a separate ticketing company and have terms and conditions in the same way other ticket agents does but i can assure you if you have been overcharged i will get you any balance repaid to you immediately.

regards

jim
