Mariner
Nothing majorly bad happened to me, and on the whole I thoroughly enjoyed it... Apart from Saturday night walking back from the arena I split up from my friends. As two girls in their early 20's approached me in the opposite direction one of them mocked "Aww, are you all alone? Got no friends?" in a sarcastic tone. I stopped and looked behind me and pointed at fresh air ironically and replied "No". She then chirped back with "Well it blatantly looks like you're on your own, lol". Thanks for that girls. Well done for making a complete stranger feel like 5hite for no reason. What gives? mrtourette
The only bad thing about last year was finding out that the Marlboro stalls had been replaced with Lambert & Butler stalls. Strummer74
Last year went incident free but 2006 was a shocker. I took ยฃ250 with me and two spare tickets as flate mate and his girlfriend could'nt make it.Said I would get what I could for them and in the end I relluctently ended up selling to a tout for a sorry ยฃ100. Was very excited and needless to say the drinks were flowing. You can guess whats coming. Within a couple of hours I managed to loose wallet at bar.Think it was before second band had even played. Was handed into lost property (bar the cash) which I was very happy about as had Oyster card, bank card, driving license etc. Ended up having to pay flat mate the ยฃ100 on top of what I'd lost which was fair enough but a very bitter pill to swallow. My advice, leave cards you don't need at home and don't get too twatted too early.

Guess Who
It wasn't really a bad thing more annoying for me and my friend, went in a group of 4, on the sunday me and mate went to see QOTSA and GnR while other 2 mates went back to start drinking (yes it was leeds) so we get back to the tents about 12.30 and the tents are gone, luckily they had started talking to some lads and just moved the tents however they were drunk and got worse very fast we went from a crate and 1 bottle of vodka and 2 bottles of sambuka to nothing within the hour, the 2 drunks were trying to down vodka straight so we slightly drunk had to stop them, however it was to late they were throwing up trashing the place, stealing other peoples stuff, set some chairs on fire...and then decided to both pass out this is about 4/5am after we had to babysit them (without a fire as they lost all our fire stuff) so we then had to put them in the recovery position because they were throwing up in their sleep, so we decided to stay up just incase..luckily we did as they decided to get up and take some tent poles out of a tent .. -.- To add to all this I had to pay ยฃ30 to get the train home with them as they were still to drunk to even do that monday morning.. lol

Guess Who
^ if you read it, it says they had moved the tents. They moved them to next to the guys they met, don't ask me why they did it they just dragged them closer to them.

beards
My mate got kicked out on the Sunday night for lighting a chinese lantern, that was pretty gutting. I'd had a couple of beers so I had to wait to sober up before carrying mine and his stuff back to my car, then went on the hunt around Reading for the tesco he'd been left at! The drive home was hell, knackered, hungover and smelly. Other than that it was a great weekend! On a positive note, in 09 something quite good happened. I was drunk and having a good time dancing to Kaiser Chiefs of all people. Some girl walked over to us and asked if any of us had lost some car keys, stuck my hand in my pocket and my keys were gone. Thankfully this girl had picked them up and brought them to me, good times
JWC126
Yknow when people throw the cups of water that stewards give the people at the front? Yeah, it was during Blink, i was completely blown, and some guy filled his cup with garlic sauce and yours truly got covered in it. If the guy in front of me that I chundered over is reading this, i'm very sorry...

Mega Ross
Rocky start, waited for the coach for 2 hours in the rain as they were late, got soaked as I wasn't wearing waterproofs. Found campsite. Mates insisted on trekking long way to tescos, had to sacrifice about ยฃ40 of beer money to buy new clothes, carrying 3 crates of carling, plus whisky, gin, mixers and food back, got back to camp, still f**king frozen and soaked and sweaty now somehow. Then I got drunk and all was well. Thursday morning I woke up, went for a dump, the toilets smelt so bad I opened the door and projectile chundered facing the campsite. 4 lads had gathered to give me a round of applause when I came out. Massively f**ked my feet up trying to brave it 2 days with leaky boots, then bought wellies 2 sizes to small which were actually an improvement. 3 camping chairs stolen, 1 was a nice one I paid ยฃ25 for but I wasn't fussed it's a festival things will get nicked. The absolute worst thing was me and 2 of the lads from our camp helped a group of 3 girls set up a tent (we say helped, we set up their tent), then invited then back to our camp "Oh no, our boyfriends will be back in a minute". Up rolls 3 skinny runts with single crates and nice clothes on(amateurs), wasted half an hour on that, damn. Oh, got a cup of piss chucked on me during blink, either piss or warm piss smelling beer. I did not care, blink were on. The bad things are just part of the experience though, love them.
