I don't know - Sonic Flower Groove has its own place amongst rock history for being part of the C86 movement. It's a bit of a headscratcher considering a few years later they did Screamadelica but it's not a terrible album.

Sonic Flower Groove and the whole C86 movement is incredibly influential. A lot of these damn jangle pop bands you have around now - Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Girls etc - they're formed out of the ashes of bands like The Wedding Present and The Mighty Lemon Drops. 'Velocity Girl' alone is more than a giant influence on the sound of Britpop.
