Elfy
I somehow (don't ask) got Darren Hanlon confused with Richard Hawley (!) (I think I went Hanlon = Hayman = guy who does "The Streets Are Ours" (I know, I know) - I clearly need more coffee).
bennyhana22
I must also have been suffering from hypocaffeinaemia, cos I read the name and then my brain converted it into Neil Hannon.......
SweepingTheNation
Most interesting thing about this: the famous and successful Laura Marling isn't headlining. How strong is this festival going to be?
ljsawyer
Megafaun! Incredible band, and makes up for the fact that I'm not a huge fan of Laura Marling. This line-up is definitely the folkiest yet, which is by no means a bad thing, but I'm hoping for a band like Menomena or Titus Andronicus to add something a bit more diverse and substantial. The abundance of psychedelic rock and psych-folk is great though.

bennyhana22
Funny actually, my friend said they have travel going earlier today in a txt! I need to go on their website! Do you know the pick up points off the top of your head? Have you been with Big Green Coach before Ben? Cheers, Clo
MrSimonW
Really pleased Lia Ices is playing, had her new album on heavy rotation just recently. Checked out the Daytrotter session for Black Angels as well, sounds like it might be right up my street.
ChloeJ
Hi Clo and welcome to the forum! No, I've not used them before, but have seen them advertised for various festivals before. Slightly anxious given seadragon's comments above...hmmm. Used National Express for Latitude last year and they were very good. I suppose the good thing about EoTR is that the coach is on the Thursday so even lateness will mean we'll get there before the bands on Friday! That said, I will check them out as we get closer to the festival. There's already such a good buzz about it, I can't believe it's 7 month'saway. Anyway, I have my festival optimist hat on so I say it's all going to be fine! my Sorry, Clo, no knowledge on pick-ups...not absolutely sure there actually ARE any between Victoria and LTG... bennyhana22
Coincidentally I just had a wee look at the BGC site to remind myself of the details. There are 2 departure times for the Thursday - 1200h and 1630h. I booked the earlier one, so unless there's a disaster I would hope to be on the EoTR site and getting the tent ship-shape by 4pm.
