Was time to go--he`d had a good whack and had been to lots of festivals..mostly unofficially!

Been a lovely dog and no trouble--went all over the world with us.

He`s f**king dead now. Hard to put yer own dog to sleep... can only admire the vet.

Sorry to hear that, nothing worse second only to a human.Pity people don't have the same views when it comes to humans, as greenfairy43 says "It's shit, but when you know it's the only kind choice" it would take away a lot of unnecessary suffering

it's awful having to have a dog put down but at the same time it's good having that choice to end their pain.

my parents had to have our dog put down about 5 years ago after having him for 12 years, i still miss him.
