I love the Monkeys, and this talk of The Libertines has got me very excited. There's also a few bands that'll be playing earlier slots that I like too, Wombats, The View, Mark Ronson. I hope they get a good band to open the main stage. I remember in 09 they had Bjorn Again and McFly and eith a couple of cans already in the system they were both good craic.

Have we had a confirmation that the Brunt of the line-up will be released on the 28th Feb or are we just gauging it on previous V's? any price info yet cos the Extra VAT increase will come in to the equation I should imagine...?

i havent seen anything official on either. I presume the line up announcement is 28th feb as tickets go on general sale 3rd march and they normally announce it the monday night before that live on absolute radio

If anything like last year it will be printed in the Express and Star newspaper hours before the announcement.
