stf
You can tell something interesting is going on - there are fifty odd lurkers!
ramragon
My guess would be subbing to U2 or Coldpay or Other Stage headliner opposite Beyonce.
Zacko
It's one of those odd things that Beyonce is clearly pretty massive but it still feels like someone in the vein of Pulp would be more suited as headliners than her.
ramragon
i could have seen beyonce fitting in well in a spot similar to shakira last year, around tea time when im at a stall stuffing my face and having a pint !
eFestivals
It would surprise me a lot if Beyonce actually headlined, rather than subbed or co-headlined, but I guess that's what makes Glastonbury so unpredictably great. It's the consequence of The Stones blowing Glasto out for the 2nd year in a row.
robith
I would be shocked if it was Beyonce on the sunday. Eavis came out and said "3 biggest bands in the world". Beyonce certainly doesn't qualify for that category. 2nd from top maybe, preferably 3rd (or not at all).
robith
I'm shocked if they pick her to headline over pulp, fair enough her subbing but headlining? I don't think she's big enough

robith
Destiny's Child sold around 65 million albums Her solo stuff has sold around 50 million. Crazy in Love is one of the greatest songs of all time. She's deffo big enough to headline. And she'll smash it IMO
zahidf
Her headline slots for the o2 last time was an hour long. Can she even play longer than that??? It'd be fun in a cheesy way, but last headliner on a Sunday??? Really???
jimmyt
Much as I adore Pulp and definitely consider them worthy headliners, Beyonce has outsold them by about 50:1 in a shorter career
Spindles
Booo...hisss....disappointment. No offense to those who think that Beyonce is a 'legend' but frankly not impressed if this turns out to be true. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there will be someone stonking on the other stage sunday night (certainly has been the last few years, at least), I was just hoping for an artist with real calibre. I know some people had been hoping for Pulp, but again, I didn't personally feel they had the stature today to fill a headline slot. Ah well, as long as they have the good sense to stick underworld on other sunday night all will be well, I am sure.

Memory Man
if pulp are on the other stage its gonna be a HUUGE crowd. everyone we go with would choose pulp over any of them. Whilst this pyramid top 3 looks poor, if you think the other stage is now likely to be TBC / Chemical Brothers / Pulp that is looking really strong. who else could headline other? Guest blackcockerel
Worst main headliners for some years in my eyes.

zahidf
I think the fri other stage headliner was supposed to be Primal Scream.
Messi30
Loads of acts have sold millions of record despite being crap. Besides compare her solo sales in UK to say Pulp's, bet there isn't such a disparity then.
ltfckimbo
How uninspiring. Great news for those of us without tickets though!
themuel
I am not a Beyonce fan, in fact I think she is rubbish and played on her good religious girl image until people got bored then got her thighs and chest out. But comparing her record sales in the UK or anywhere else to Pulp's is moronic. She has definitely sold a massive amount more.
Messi30
yeah 'cause these 3 acts are doing whole day sets covering multiple stages lol

dirty_dog
pulp fans are great!!! they are seriously trying to justify why their band should headline above the biggest female artist in the world and possibly of all time by the time she is done n dusted.
