More like everyone already assumed that their time had passed when the 2021 festival didn't happen.

Would be very happy if Sam Fender is one of the headliners. His show at the O2 was brilliant, and the biggest singalong of the night was (surprisingly) “People Watching”, so I think the new songs would go down well with the Glastonbury crowd as well as the older ones. His last set at Glastonbury was a highlight for me that year. New album out in a few weeks so timing works. 

Maybe if he was 40 years younger and it didn't contravene the Ts and Cs of his Stones tour insurance 

First gig of the year tonight, with The Xcerts. Anybody caught this run so far?

Fender will be a straight-up rock show. The 1975 - who can still do a very good straight-up rock show themselves - will probably go more conceptual if they get it.
