Fall out boy?

As I've said I like both bands, but when was the last time you saw bands doing theatre tours if they could sell out arenas? It just doesn't happen, unless it's an album preview tour or something of that ilk.

I agree bands dont tend to do theatre tours if they can sell out arenas. However there are american bands who can pull of arena tours because they only do a few dates, but if they were to do a 10 date tour would probably have to downgrade to theatres. I would probably put fall out boy in that category. Manics are a band, who i suspect are happy doing their own thing and possibly not maximising their commercial potential. Fall out boy and their celebrity basist are probably more about the fame and money than the fans

I would have said FOB at their peak were bigger than MCR are now. That is my opinion though.

well manics are about the moey aswel, they did say they would quit after one album.
