One trick I have found & I normally only do this when camping with out my gf is to put my two shitty Gelert Quickpitch/Quickdraw 2 man pop up tents in one bag. They both fit snug in one disc bag & isn't any heavier than my Eurohike 3 man pop up tent. Comes in handy to put your camps spare chairs & booze in.

ALWAYS TAKE A CAMP CHAIR. Nobody likes sitting on the floor when everyone else is comfy & at the same height in chairs. Also you get more of the heat from the fire, you can hang clothes off them & handy for putting my boom box on.

NEVER LEAVE YOUR CAMP CHAIR OUT WHEN NOT AT CAMP... it will get stolen.

At Beach Break last year, out of a group of 20 of us, only myself & the girlfriend brought a camp chair. By the end of the first evening all 20 of us were sitting comfortable in chairs. I had no idea where they came from. Tbh I always take neighbours chairs when they leave them out but I always give them back.

Socks, take an abundancy of socks.

If you're the type of guy that drinks beer, make sure you take huge ammounts of tinnies. Taking large quantaties of Vodka and other spirits may seem like a great space-saver in hindsight, but you'll run out of beer quickly, and be subjected to drinking straight vodka in all likelihood, which we all know is pretty mingin. Take a little bit of spirits as a top up job, or for shots before you all go out at night and such. I'm only taking a 2 liter bottle of vodka or such for this year, stackign stella in the masses for actually drinking.

Again, don't know if you're the type, but if you're taking drugs, take your own. There was some really dodgy drugs being sold in Yellow last year, and at least you've got some scope for how real/safe the drugs are if you bring your own.

Apart from that, I got myself a fine tweed jacket from Oxfam last year, and it kept me warm as ever during the 5am binge that me and my friends were on. I'd reccomend a tweed to anyone looking to enjoy the full festival experience. Tweed.

And can only second the drugs thing, pretty much every night we had people walking round offering us different things, and some friends of ours that were camping elsewhere said that a few of them had a bad turn on some stuff they'd bought, so although it goes without saying, Id be very reluctant to buy off a stranger off a festival.

Jumpers

Socks and Underwear

Pop up tent

Sleeping bag

Toiletries

Water (Orange Juice- Alcohol can get too much at times, a sit down with or OJ is quite nice)

Pretty much the must take guide, other than that it's all down to personal preference, IE Trousers/Shorts, Wellies/Boots and so on and so forth.
