I feel a two is fair enough. If the majority weren't repeat acts then it would be a 4 but sadly they are.

I gave it a 3 - as didnt want to look grippy - was actually thinking two but gave them an extra point since Fake Blood is playing live

I gave it a very generous 2. It could've been alot worse and there are some decent acts I want to see but all in all it's very dull. For a first timer it's not too bad a line up I suppose. It seems more aimed at a younger market this year IMO.

4 - it will end up beign a great weekend. If this was the final line-up right now. Id still have a cracking time and its not. Saturday is the only week point for me so far... BUT they do have the Chem Bros to make up for it.

Actually looking back my two may have been harsh. The line up is good for newcomers. However, since a lot of us have been going since 06-07 we have seen most of the acts announced.

Agree that it's a 4. RockNess is not all about the line up for me. It feels like a huge party.

The line up will certainly deliver a party, regardless of how many times I've seen some of the acts.

I would agree that they could do with a few more first timer acts though...

FOUR.....cos I'm actually interested in seeing one of the headliners (Chemical Bros) for the first time since Daft Punk in 07.

Also cos of Simian, Groove Armada, Boys Noize, and Fake Blood.

....and also cos The Afterburner arena is defo coming back

As some have mentioned above, I think that the acts announced so far produce a real party atmosphere! There is still plenntyy go too, only 30 acts out of 100 or something? I think some are being far too pessimistic.

If we're rating the festivcal then it rates very highly and the line up isn't particularly bad it's just repetative. I know I'll have a great time and I know there'll be plenty of acts I'll love. The less big acts just means more time to explore the smaller stages and perhaps catch a hidden gem.

i'd rate it 3/5 at the moment, i think it's a good line up so far but it loses points for only having 1 dance headliner on the main stage and a lot of repeat acts.

i think it's pretty decent considering it's only a tiny fraction of the whole line up, which i'm sure will end up being great as it always is.

rockness always has brilliant acts on the smaller stages and although the line up isn't that exciting at the moment, when we have the full line up there will be plenty to get excited about.

I give it a 3 and easy!

Line-up is nothing spectacular, pretty poor in relation to previous years but still decent enough to get your attention. But then again what can ya do, Jim does his best to get the best acts available at the time and I'm sure he'll deliver a few more before the Summers here.

The Chemical Brothers and DJ Shadow are two of the best for any festival.

Kasabian, DJ Yoda, Groove Armada and Boys Noize are all excellent too. So you can't deny its a good line-up. Plus Magnetic Man are f**king huge among the nippers, they'll be a huge draw for the kids. And I'm sure their live show is pretty good once your mashed off your cabbage.

Sure its the camping and banter that make the weekend anyway, good acts are just a brucie bonus!

Really hope I can get my finances together to go this year, been 2 years on the trot now, I'd like to make it three.
