Announcement this week again

They didn't really hype this one, though... they told us it would be happening, that we were getting seven new bands today, but that's not really 'hyping it up', just letting us know it's happening.

Pretty average announcement, to be expected really.

Only band I want to see is Puddle of Mudd. I'll see Times of Grace if there is no-one else and maybe Evile. VersaEmerge aren't my cup of tea, they do sound like Paramore, I'll probabaly check them out because the singer is very fit, only if they don't clash.

Your Demise are very poor and Pretty Reckless aren't my thing. Never heard of Suicide Silence so I YouTube'd them, they were like poison to my ears, absolutely awful.

I was considering heading to download for ths first time this year but I'm being put off a bit by some of the comments on here & less than encouraging lineup announcments, seems this festival is on a bit of downward slope this year

i'm contemplating messaging the company i've applied to work for and having my deposit refunded if possible. 24 hours of work and taking 6 days holiday from my job doesn't seem like such a good deal so far based on the announcement. especially seen as it would prevent me from doing glastonbury.

I know what you mean, the way the acts are laid out is looking very good in my opinion, surely times of grace and the damned things are guna clash with someone i want to watch main stage friday.

Devilman is feeling sorry for the poor little souls here that have got all upset at the line up so far. If you don't like it, don't go. Simples. I don't know a load of the bands that I'll see. I bet I'll come back raving about half of them and have a great time regardless of who I see. Some people seem to have lost the distinction between a festival and a concert. Bless.

some people seem to have forgotten that there's a huge selection of festivals to choose from. for cheaper as well. and perhaps closer. and where you can have a potentially better time.

I agree, i think the tent is gunna be rammed, especially as they arent touring. Only chance to see them.
