Notes

- All spots apart from top 3 on main and top 2 on second stage is guesswork, those spots have ben confirmed, the rest have had day and stage confirmed but not running order, thats just my opinion but if an act is placed on a certain aday and stage, Andy Copping has confirmed it. And as always things CAN change.

-Hope you like the new clear poster, think it looks better myself anyway.

So far I'll be spending most of the day at main on Friday, expcept for The Damned Things as long as they don't clash with Alter Bridge, then to second for Korn and third for Danzig.

Saturday is going to be a stage hoping day I guess, only bands I'm really bothered about are A7X and SOAD.

Sunday looks like all day at second. Maybe Gaslight to chill out and have a smoke to and BMFV on main.

I like that run of bands from Puddle of Mudd to Alter Bridge on the Friday. The mass exodus for Korn is almost certain if it is indeed The Darkness.

I'm in a positive mood today, whoever gets announced (or doesn't) I don't give a shit. Download will be awesome whatever the line-up. Because it's Download. Plus with Linkin Park on the bill a few more of my mates will be interested in going (I know, it's a sad reflection of the company I keep )

What are the time splits usually between stages? Do all slotss across all the stages get the same time? For example Def Leppard - Korn & Danzig get 1hr30? Or is it like Reading & Leeds where the smaller the stage the shorter the set time? Just I was thinking about seeing the King Blues but don't wann miss any of System of a Down.

Even if King Blues are subbing 3rd, which I'm not sure they will, you won't miss any of SOAD. I think generally all the headliners start around the same time give or take 10min, but the main stage goes on for about 30min longer?

Its not BMTH on main sat in the 3rd spot, Andy just told me theyre directly under Korn. 3rd on main is booked tho. But wont say who. Yet anyway.

Hes also said it isnt Down. But wont say who it is or even if its someone announced. But hes got it booked. Hmmm could be someone moving or someone new now. Very interesting.

Just confirmed Sat main stage 3rd down is an act that is yet to be announced! Great news! So whoever he wanted who were already announced obviously said no. Still think it was BMTH.

Papa Roach aren't big enough imo. For example they played about half way up the bill at Sonisphere last year.

I don't think 'they're not big enough' is ever something that's considered by this festival.

Id say it is, but obviously theres Soni around now and needs must, plus it depends whos avaliable, whos in Europe at the time

Im thinking now Papa Roach aren't avaliable

Even though they said they were playing it looks like things could have changed

Skunk Anansie are another who apparently self confirmed but im shocked they haven't been announced yet, and likewise all their fests are in July, although obviously being from the UK they could play Download as they aren't busy elsewhere, although 3rd from top on Saturday, they don't look like they'd fit in, Id say more likely to be added to Sunday 5th down under Gaslight Anthem would work a whole lot better.

Wolfmother again wouldn't fit musically in that slot but I think its the only slot they'd play in. They are in Europe not sure if they're booked that day though.
