Right dont wear long trousers.

Ladies wear shorts or a skirt.

Gents wear shorts or 3/4 length shorts.

That way no matter what your gender you ain't going get no surprises when you pull your pants up.

Carry some tissues and anti bacterial gel in your bag, pocket, pack whatever.Although there always seems to be a good supply.

Just think if its good enough for 150000 people its good enough for me.

If going to the loo is such a big issue dont drink to much beer.(Although keep your water levels up).

Going to the toilet for 1x3 minute dump and 8x1 minute wees a day= 11 minutes per day each day has 1440 minutes so your left with 1429 minutes of fun

to enjoy yourself.

As everyone has said, you really don't want to be lugging a toilet tent around, not only will it be a pain to bring from the car/van but may well get used by others in your absence. And the toilets are extremely good nowadays, the cleaners do a fantastic job of keeping them clean. My tips would be:

  • When I pop to the longdrops I thread a bungey chord through my bogroll, this way I can hang the toilet roll from the latch when I'm sitting down ensuring it doesn't drop to the floor or get mucky.

  • Always cary some antiseptic gel/handwash with you, please...

  • Bring a torch, if you find yourself in a portaloo at night it makes life easier

  • Don't wait until you're desperate, every now and then you'll wander past a lovely toilet, make use of it.

  • Don't wait till 9am to go to the long drops in the morning... there will always be a queue...

  • Invest in a 2ltr Lenor bottle or Travel Johns, on average the bladder can hold about 300ml, or up to 500ml and you're crossing your legs, so a 2lt bottle will easily cover most emergency needs in the night and empties easily the next day.
