Memory Man
think its a really strong line up this, and a fair few of these should be on their way to rockness too. put it this way if they're not there is something seriously wrong with rockness' booking people! im talking stuff like Tensnake and the entire HMD tent (i'd take the lot!)stuff like modeselektor, mystery jets, metronomy, darwin deez, Hercules + love affair, Space dimension controller, carte blanche, dutch uncles. stuff that in the grand scheme of things doesnt cost that much but improves the fest and gives it more of a left field line up. i think the main things that rockness does have over this festival tho is the ability to camp and the sound levels. heard the levels last year at parklife were appalling and lets face it with the line up being so DJ orientated low sound will ruin the event completely. taLLbones
Have to agree tensnake would be good afternoon show early evening. I seen retro grade support Goldfrapp and they whipped the crowd up am sure with a bit more freedom they could put on a good show. Damiun Lazarus is a sub club favourite so could see him in there. All in all i would take a good part of that line up and like you said wouldnt cost too much! Ps if its only one act get Holden!
Poleski
Skrillex and Nero are musts!!
festkid
I personally can't stand Skrillex... Modeselektor however, would be an amazing booking!
losing.my.edge
All-in-all that's a pretty impressive line-up. From it, I'd like to see at Rockness; Modeselektor, James Holden, Hercules & Love Affair, Matthew Dear, Chad Valley, James Zabiela, Retro/Grade, Metronomy, Tensnake and Horse Meat Disco. That would make me a happy man. Not on the Parklife line-up, but I'd LOVE to see Siriusmo added to Rockness (his new album 'Mosaik' is phenomenal. blackg1000
Looks awesome, pisses all over any line-up I've seen so far. Wouldn't be difficult to get any of them up to Scotland/back down so a few playing that would go down a treat at Rockness.
taLLbones
On another note Sat - [Headliner TBA] Could this be Rockness's Sunday headliner and they cant announce till RN has? Why would they announce every other act apart from that?

Paul ™
Remember Glade Festival is back on this year, and falling the same weekend. So a lot of those acts could end up playing there and not Rockness.
GrahamWalker
thats some lineup
shezam
how much is this Parklife? Think I might just go there, lineup is amazing!! Maybe if I sorted transport and accomodation now would work out cheaper or around the same price as Rockness! x

Poleski
Glade line up announced. Very underground.
Paul ™
From memory the Glade line up doesn't ever have that many big names. They tend to book the bigger underground names.
Poleski
Maybe back in 2005/2006 that was the case, but over the past few years of it running they had some very big names - Underworld, Pendulum, Beardyman, Dub Pistols, Dave Clarke, Dreadzone, SLAM, The Orb, Richie Hawtin.. wouldn't class them as underground either. Paul ™
I don't think theres going to be any big acts announced for it to be honest.
Poleski
Going by the 1st announcement, me either. Which would put me right off spending £145 for a ticket
Paul ™
If my memory serves me correctly, did it not close down because running costs became too much or something? They should sacrifice a few of the stages or something to make way for a few well known acts. That line up is never going to shift £145 a head tickets... festkid
We have shared acts with Glade in the past, like Dub Pistols etc.. but at the moment I can't see RockNess meeting half way on any of those acts, there line up is awful at the moment! Paul ™
Skrillex would not play Glade if he was playing another festival.
