This years comedians?

I know some people won't really care, but I do think its good having comedians on at Leeds/Reading, its a nice bit of variety. For this year I'm sure I've seen (I could be wrong) that Bill Bailey and Ross Noble have self-confirmed. Personally I think they would be pretty good.

Would Bill Bailey not be far too big?

I've started spending quite alot of time in The Alternative tent the last few years, last year we saw Emo Philips, Kevin Bridges and Eddie Argos and they were all fantastic. In 09 we caught Aidan Moffat from Arab Strap and it was the highlight of my weekend, I'd love for him to come back.

There is no way Bill Bailey would play the comedy tent. Dont expect anybody there that is a big arena comedian.

I can see Milton Jones being one of the headliners. Id love to see Craig Campbell there again, hes just started his first solo tour and I met him after the gig in Barnsley, cracking bloke and very funny.

I thought the host guy at Reading was great, me and a few of my friends went hoping to see Kevin Bridges but he was delayed on his way back from the Fringe but we got to see Jason Byrne instead, he was great, really involved with the crowd which suits the festival atmosphere great, would love to see him again this year.

I spent loads of time in the alternative tent last year. Saw some great comedians in there - Christian Reilly was brilliant. Rufus Hound was great too; made me open my eyes to his comedy style when I thought that he was an otherwise deeply unfunny guy who is on a really shit Dave original television show.

We probably spent more time in that place than most of the festivals. It's a great place to kick back with some food around tea time, and just generally relax and kill some time when nothing seems to be going on.

Another question to ask on this thread would be, what films would you like to see being played in the alternative tent? Didn't have the chance to see The Doors film because I think QOTSA were on, but it's a good 'un. And Kickass was always great fun to watch.

The guy with the massive mouth from those annoying

adverts was at Bestival & was pretty fun. Walked around the crowd smoking weed & chased people out of the tent with his radio mic. Was obviously off his face too. If anyone could tell me his name I would appreciate it.

EDIT - Eric Lampaert .tk ?
