reading/leeds day tickets

well Im not going to come for the weekend as the rumoured bands dont really do it for me.

saying that if interpol play I will go to one of the days, doe the day tickets sell out straight away or a few days? how much were the day tickets last year, around the 80 quid mark?

Day tickets dont sell out as quickly as weekend tickets but there is always more popular days that sell out quicker than others.

I think they were around £80 & booking fee.

Reading allways sells out quite quickly, Leeds tickets were on sale till a week before last year.

Its just Readings location, its a bit less demanding to be so close to so many citys. Leeds you are a bit of a cast away, and really is a true festival in that sence of the word.

Reading is the bigger one, and Ill happyly admit that as a anual Leeds goer, reading is what gets shown on the tele and is very close to London so demand is greater.

Leeds Festival will not sell out this year if MCR headline, people will take it into to much consideration and be anoyed by what could be a disapointing outcome!

It usually depends on who is headlining, if The Strokes headline, it may sell out eventually, Muse probably fairly quickly and if MCR are headlining, i doubt that day would sell out at all

Since you're an Interpol fan, could you recommend an album or couple of albums worth listening to? I've never really gotten into them but they're playing at a festival I'm going to this summer so I wanna check them out before hand.

I love all interpol albums and are pretty damn fine live. there not everyones cup of tea, alot find them to dark and broody.

but you should start with there first 2 albums

They will 'sell out' on the night but some will be put back into circulation due to card transactions failing, people cancelling orders, etc.

If you don't get one on the night keep looking on sites like seetickets & checking back on here the morning after cos people tend to post on here saying 'insert site name here' has got tickets on sale again, you should have no worries really.

Do you live in Reading? if so you might be able to get a resident's ticket. They go on sale Sunday morning.

Thank you for the advice! I'm going to try my hardest on getting them on the 21st at 7pm Luckly it's the day before my birthday, so money is not an issue!

Im the same, none of my mates are up for it this year and i'll only go if there are a few gems on the undercard

Even if the do sell out, you can pick a secondary one up for not that much more close to the Festival. That's what I did last year.
