It says:

First line-up announcements will be revealed and tickets will be on sale from 7.15pm on Monday 21st March.

Listen in to Zane Lowe's show on Radio 1 for all the news you've been waiting for! NME.com will have all the latest bands as they're online.

Yeah...

Still. f**k it. Bang up prices. If the government can tax you 70% for a litre of petrol, we can tax you 3% more this year's ticket - and that doesn't include booking and postage fees. Now consume, you greedy little dole queue'ers!

Festivals are getting ridiculously expensive, once you're over the £200 mark it's getting silly.

One of the best festival deals going is The Rockness Early Bird offer, £99 which can be paid in three installments. Fair enough it's only two and a half days but normally you get a decent line up especially if you're into dance music.

We're paying more for festival tickets, but less for recorded music. I imagine it balances itself out if you buy a lot of music, so really those who are paying a real increase are those who aren't paying for recorded music.

EDIT: Though that only really works out if you only go to 1 festival - and no other live music, which is pretty unlikely if you buy a lot of albums.

Don't let that old chesnut fool you. The music industry has been stealing from your wallet since the stone age - it's about time they got put in their place and had the same thing happen to them. The only people who suffer from musical piracy are those greedy few who are already rich. Independent bands and artists who do their own thing should be the ones who get the support, and most of them find themselves ending up at festivals that are usually remarkably free from corporate involvement and cost significantly less.
