Hello e-festivalers!

It's been 3 years since I've been on this site and it's been 4 whole years since I've been in the UK. However, that's changing (yay)... it looks like my partner and I will be moving to the UK in about 2 years. I know that seems far off, but there's a lot to do!

She's a nurse in Quebec, Canada (where we live), and is interested in chatting with some UK nurses via e-mail or chat to find out what it's like to work as a nurse in the UK.

Are there any nurses out there on e-festivals or does anyone know any nurses who might be interested in exchanging a few e-mails with a Quebecoise? If yes, please send me a message or respond to this thread.

We'd be very grateful and, in exchange, we'd be happy to bring your choice of a canadian stereotype across the pond. Maple syrup, anyone?

Where are you planning to move to? Not so sure about Nursing, but have half a clue about Midwifery.

No idea where we're planning on moving to. It doesn't matter too much to me, but I think maybe Manchester would be cool? It's still a pretty big city but not as pricey as London, right?

I guess I'll go wherever I get a contract for the first little while (in GIS - Geographic Information Systems). Max probably won't be able to work right away as she'll have to get used to the accent. As for the midwifery... I don't think she's really into that. She's a drug rehab nurse right now.
