Yeah thats always my main concern, it was my first year last time & you learn what crap you actually need once you're there, I can't even be arsed to take a chair again this year, too much faffing around to carry & keep taking out when you can just sit on the grass, I've picked up an extra compact sleeping bag which looks promising and should be a bit of an energy/space saver.

It's more in the spirit of things if you can get by without 100's of bits and bobs, I'll probably try to get by with as little as possible this year, cos there's a ton of stuff that just goes unused or not used enough to warrant being brought.

Take a double sleeping bag & fold it over. Saves taking an extra lilo. Useful if you like bringing girls back to your tent... you can play tunnels!

My mate had one of those proper blow up air bed jobs last year. Had a nap on it one morning and was f**king epic. Much better than slumming it on the floor like i was.

Should all take gloves aswell. Remember one year my hands were always frozen at night. Made even worse when holding cans and shit.

I used to take an inflatable readybed with an electric pump, but it was so heavy and too much effort. Now I just have a rollmat to stop the colding coming through.
