Like ive said before, wednesday is my favourite day, that first beer when your all set up is amazing.

Even if it's raining and wind is howling, sit under the gazebo, spark up a fag, get a can on the go.

I always go on Wednesday, even when I'm there on my own. It means you can get a good camping spot, and gives you time to just soak in the atmosphere and get in the right mood to enjoy the rest of the festival. It can get a bit boring at times just sitting around, but I just take some magazines and maybe a book to read, and go for a wander round the campsite to check things out and maybe meet some people.
