Don't be put off by the fact that it's a gaming video, this is without a doubt the funniest video I've seen on youtube in ages. Infact I'll give a pint at Glasto to anyone who watches this video without laughing or raising a smile.

Looks like you owe me a pint at Glasto. I neither laughed or smiled while watching it. I must either be missing something or this is a practical joke. I don't suppose you'd let me know if either of these two circumstances are the case?

That is the most ridiculous sport on the face of the earth. How it can be acceptable to do that is beyond me. And that is coming from a massive UFC fan, I like watching a pasting more than your average guy.

I don't follow any sport so may be a little under qualified to comment. That said, whenever I have seen ice hockey on tv I have always been impressed of the skating skill of those playing. That skill is always 'tainted' when you see actions like that seen on the above video. I liken it to when I used to go on the bumber cars at the fair when I was young. I always found it more of a challenge and more rewarding to avoid bumping into someone, or allowing them to bump you. I couldn't see the enjoyment in crashing into someone then and can't see it now.

Ice hockey is a game that doesn't work on tv. Too difficult to follow the play, but NHL is something else when you see it in the flesh. Such pace and power and a lot easier to follow the puck. It's great fun live, but yes, the fighting is a bit pantomime sometimes, it's a genuine tactic of the sport
