Andy0808 v3.0
Am I the only one who thinks FR literally cannot do anything right this evening? Seems to be a split of love/hate (bar MCR, which seems unanimous) over the line-up: whatever they announce will disappoint!

chappiepunk
Do you think people simply want to hate the line-up? If they announced a decent line-up, worth the ridiculous price, then people would be happy.

Hart Attack
The headliners aren't the issue for me - they're fine. It's the Saturday and Sunday undercard, specifically it's overall lack of bands that I care about. A lot of the bands seem too small/too high up - National third!? Friendly Fires fourth? Are those two really the same size as or bigger than Biffy Clyro, Weezer, Limp Bizkit, Lostprophets? I like Rise Against, but fifth from top? Seriously? Seasick Steve and We Are The Ocean shouldn't really be on the main stage at all, and Noah & The Whale are a good two slots higher than they ought to be. Why is there lighter/indie/NME stuff on the second stage at the same time that similar bands are on main? There should be alternatives, not more of the same. Why so much lighter music anyway? Where's Incubus? Funeral For A Friend? Feeder? Completely bizzare bookings decisions... Edited March 21, 2011 by Hart Attack

eFestivals
right.... my apologies for the deleting of posts that displayed the photo of the poster from Kerrang earlier. I was asked by FR to do it, despite pointing out to them that they were fighting a losing battle to keep it hushed up, as sooooo many people had put up copies of the same pic. They wanted to try and keep the line-up a surprise until tonight.

eFestivals
FR were fuelling speculation by asking you to take it down. I agree, and I said that to them before I took it down. They asked that I take it down anyway. I could have refused, but I've never seen it as a part of what I do to undermine what festivals are trying to do - I've done similar in the past for Glastonbury and V Festival and others too. But it got to a point later in the day where they'd clearly failed to stop it spreading and where some media were still openly reporting about it, so I suggested to them that I might as well publish anyway and they accepted that. So anyway, my apologies for those deletions, because it was all so pointless.
