I still reckon we will be seeing them at Worth Farm this summer, it may just be the case that because of Wireless not selling out that they may not want to annouce it until later. There playing nearly every other festival in Europe so even if it is just for money sakes I don't see why they wouldn't want to play, I would have never guessed Jarvis Cocker would be so money concious to that extreme!

The thing is...elbow are playing in R+L before muse and pulp before strokes...the line up starts too have too many similarities if pulp make an appearance on glasto too...and R+L try to be differentiated from other festivals and pulp playing at glasto will not be a good thing for them...its the first time i really doubt they will play

I have done 10 Glasto's and as many Leeds.

Now Leeds has moved sites it is totally different. Where we camp it is a like a grave yeard at night

you really do not hear a peep , the odd noise when sat round the fire then thats it. Its a lot

quieter than Glastonbury.

And the line up this year is a belter !

There was rioting at Bramham park in 05,04,03 too!

It must have got better since 05 when i last went though, it was just full of tossers then, and a really shit vibe on the last night, it didnt feel safe.

Worst was probably 99/00/01 at Temple Newsam in Leeds though when there were helicopters, burning toilet blocks, undercover police in Slipknot hoodies and dogs!

Agree.

It is what it is. The line up's normally good and (for me at least) it's local. Having not got Glasto tickets, and not being terribly optimistic about the re sale, Leeds is a must.

Plus, i'm hoping to get residents tickets in the ballot and walk there each day.

All this of course goes out of the window if we do get re sale tickets, at which point Leeds becomes full of chavs and i wont be interested :P

Guest blackcockerel

I still can't tell if Notjarviscocker on twitter is him or not, but he has just said "hey have you heard Paul Simon is playing Glasto? That line up keeps getting better and better"
