Not a chance. They only headline mainstages, them headlining the second stage would be an absolute joke and they wouldn't have accepted it even if it was offered to them.

If The Smashing Pumkins and Pixies can headline mainstage in the last 8 years then The Cure for sure as they are a much bigger band and always have been.

1. Why are people putting Bon Iver on their line up predictions?

2. Why are you placing them stupidly low?

The last tour here included venues like Manchester Apollo, London Hammersmith etc. and they all sold out very quickly. I had to pay triple the face value for a ticket off ebay for Leeds Academy and many people were paying even more than that for a ticket. More tickets could easily have been sold if bigger venues were decided upon or multiple dates at venues decided. Plus 'Bon Iver' was very well recieved and earned a top 5 placing. Around 4th on the main stage would be correct if they were to play (I very much doubt that), not something like half way down the Nme stage.

I'm still not sure on that. If Kaiser's are okay to be placed 3rd main stage then that is the same bracket that would make them okay for NME headliner against a strong band. Their tour which I might add is small venue's, some very small, took it's time to sell through. They are not the draw they used to be what so ever. Yes they sold out a venue in Leeds, it's their home place and it was only 10k max people each of the two days. That's not even average arena size on each date of the dates.

Rizzle kicks in the same position as last time won't happen, they'll be more likely for V anyway now.

Crystal Castles from subbing the tent to 5th down in the tent after only a year, poor guys.

Frank Turner has said he isn't playing next year. Mumford are bigger than kaisers but I doubt either are big enough to sub (mumford maybe). White lies terrible positioning.

I gave up writing full sentences, too much effort not enough reward.

has anyone seen the tweet from biffy. a member of their band has said they have something to announce around midnight tonight. that's when download make their 2nd string tonight. could be cashing in for both parties while over for iow.

I'd say personally if biffy are subbing at download this year, that will make them almost certs to headline R&L next year, i did think this a while ago.
